All those who purchased plants at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens’ virtual plant sale are reminded that “safe” pickup is this Thursday from 11 am to 4 pm, Friday from 11 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday starting at 9 am.
To stay within Centers for Disease Control social distancing guidelines, purchasers are asked to come from the south using the alley between the Stitch and the Gardens. Volunteers and TJG board members will verify orders, place plants in vehicles, and then accept payment. This will avoid traffic congestion on Lincoln Way.
The TJG board appreciates the support the community showed the virtual plant sale, as proceeds will allow for additional plantings at the Garden and for holiday greens next winter.
